Enterprise & Employment

What We Do

The Enterprise & Employment (E&E) working group is made up of representatives from community, statutory, employer and trade union organisations. The E&E group meets monthly to oversee the Enterprise and Employment Budget.

We serve local people who wish to access employment, training or establish their own or a community business. The working group also incorporates the Clondalkin Social Economy Working Group which recommends projects for funding by FAS. For further details of the FAS Social Economy Programme, click this link http://www.fas.ie/.

For now the group is working with five main initiatives, which are as follows:

  • Support for Training and Development of Locally Based Training Initiatives
  • Supporting the Development & Progress of local groups
  • Enterprise Support Services
  • Third Sector Support, Advice and Mentoring
  • Business Community Network
